SOL - Replacement of Cremators at Robin Hood Crematorium and installation and maintenance services

Tender description

The contract will cover the requirements of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. Required at this location is the demolition and disposal under licence of 3 no. existing cremators and minor ancillary equipment and the supply, installation and successful commissioning of 3 no. new cremators with the option to install mercury abatement plant at a later date. The successful supplier will also be required to enter into a contract for the maintenance of the new cremators (with the option of adding the mercury abatement plant at a date to be specified in the future) for a period of 15 years. The supply and maintenance of new ash-processing equipment will also be included in the tender.
