This document relates to ‘Security Services Provision’. The Service is for Night Time, Week-Ends and Public Holiday’s to ensure the Protection of Grounds and Buildings at the CIT Bishopstown College Campus. The Main Campus has a Building Footprint of some 70,000m² on 90 acres, which includes Playing Pitches and Viewing Stands The intention is to make the appointment for an initial period of two years with provision for a Maximum of two one year extensions depending on performance. Actual times on site will be agreed with the Buildings & Estates Office on an on-going basis and the substitution of some mobile patrols instead of man guarding can be considered. The normal cover range being within 23.00 - 04.00 Monday to Thursday Within 19.00 – 05.00 Friday to Sunday The operational hours will be review each month and will be subject to adjustments especially between summer and winter times. 1.1 Essential Requirements • Hold a Private Security Services Contractor Licence or equivalent. • Minimum training: Guarding skills QQL Level 4 Minor award or equivalent 1.2 Key Qualities of the Security Officer on Duty • Hold a Private Security Services Employee Licence • Fluent in English • The ability to communicate effectively with members of staff and members of the general public. • Enthusiastic
