N15 Blackburn Bridge - Phase 1

Tender description

The N15 Blackburn Bridge Phase 1 comprises the construction of approximately 2.4 kilometres of standard single carriageway which is located to the southwest of Ballybofey Town. • On-line improvements and off –line realignment of national road to the standard of Type 1 single carriageway (S2); • Realignment of 2 single carriageway local roads; • 1no. Bridge Structure, together with all other Structures necessary as part of the Design and the Works, including 3 no. culverts; • Various earthworks in areas of very soft ground; • Minor priority junctions, including various direct accesses; • Various chambers and ducting Works, including those suitable for use by the authorities, utilities and service providers and private utility services; • Watermain diversions; • Various landscape, environmental and mitigation Works; • Various culverting and re-alignment of river streams and the provision of drainage outfalls; • Various fencing, safety barrier systems and drainage Works; • Various signing and road marking Works; • Various Works including diversions of the assets of the authorities, utility and service providers and private utility services; Various site clearance works, including Japanses Knotweed • Various accommodation Works including accesses to properties and lands; and •Various ancillary Works.
