Tender description

Gateshead Council is looking to appoint a consultant to gather and assess information on supply and demand for sports facilities to contribute to the Council's emerging Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) and Built Sports Facilities Strategy (BSFS), in accordance with Sport England guidance. The appointed consultant will also be required to support and review the preparation of the strategies' recommendations following the assessment of supply and demand. The consultant will also be required to produce a plan for grassroots football in Gateshead in direct response to reductions in availability of public subsidy. The Gateshead Football Plan will be a discrete, but complementary document, prepared alongside the PPS and BSFS.
