Tender description

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tenders from Suppliers for the purchase of Tools, Tool Accessories, and Power Tools, to be delivered to sites within the Rotherham area. This will include items such as gardening equipment, general hand tools and associated accessories, drills, saw blades, shears, brushes, knives, mowing and strimmer line and many more. The anticipated spend is in the region of £24,000 per annum, however this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. Any quantities included within the pricing schedules are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. Product specification should match that of a recognised British/European standard and be fit for purpose; this should be accompanied by a guarantee wherever possible. The disposal of Power Tools both cordless and corded should conform to the WEEE directive. This opportunity is split into two lots as specified in the Tender documentation. Suppliers may tender for one lot or both. The framework will be awarded initially for a period of one year, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of the Council for a further two years, each on a year by year basis.
