Tender for mill machinery

Tender description

The tender is to carry out refurbishment of the Eling Tide Mill Machinery. This project is part of New Forest District Council’s ongoing refurbishment and improvement programme to the Eling Tide Mill and forms part of our successful Heritage Lottery Funded bid 2014, in partnership with Totton & Eling Town Council. The Tide Mill is located on the seaward side of the causeway crossing Bartley water and the site is listed Grade II*. The extent of the Mill Machinery Works is shown on the Tender Drawing 423-101262-1/AB1/1, Rev T/0. The Mill Machinery Works forms part of a series of contracts which include Restoration of Tide Mill (structure), alteration / extension to the adjacent Heritage Centre, and environmental / access improvements to external spaces.
