Tender description
The University of Southampton is contracting for the provision of investigational medicinal products for use by its Faculty of Medicine as part of the one of its clinical trials. The trial itself is concerned with the investigation of the use of antibiotics for lower respiratory tract infection in children presenting in primary care. It is a randomised double blind placebo controlled clinical trial comparing amoxicillin suspension and placebo.
