Waste Management Services for Merseytravel Premises

Tender description

Merseytravel is seeking to commission the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the provision of waste management services across its estate, with the exception of the most hazardous waste such as asbestos. The winning contractor will need to demonstrate compliance with all applicable legislation and provide evidence of this on request. They will also advise and support Merseytravel to meet its legal obligations on waste. Please refer to https://www.gov.uk/managing-your-waste-an overview The service shall comprise of daily and weekly collections to Merseytravel's estate to collect and remove mixed recycling waste, mixed municipal waste and glass waste from our sites. On an ad-hoc basis we will require skips of various sizes for the disposal of a variety of waste material from site/sites.
