Tender description
The Department for Transport has a potential requirement for manufacturers of Computer Tomography (CT) baggage screening equipment to develop a specific detection algorithm. The Department for Transport is continually assessing aviation security measures to ensure they remain effective and proportionate, and has identified a requirement to develop/enhance a specific capability which can best be met using CT X-Ray technology. Further detail regarding this requirement is included within the attachment on this notice.
