201/YE Maintenance Contract for JEOL Transmission Electron Microscope

Tender description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender for a Maintenance Contract for a JEOL Transmission Electron Microscope. The equipment is part of the Mercury Centre, a project part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). We are looking for the provision of a support service for an initial period of 12 months on-site at the University of Sheffield, including provision of spare parts, for our existing JEOL JSM 3100Z R005 scanning transmission electron microscope. Included is an option to extend for a further 24 months (12months + 12 months, annually), subject to facility reorganisation. To summarise, this is a 1 year plus 1 year plus 1 year contract, to be reviewed and confirmed annually. **This is a mini-competition under the NWUPC HVLE Agreement. This competition is open to the suppliers on the HVLE Framework only.** The closing date for return of tenders is Friday 26th July 2015 at 12 noon (UK time).
