Survey of Intake Grilles, Ductwork and Fire Dampers

Main Intake Grilles and Ductwork Much of the existing plant and ductwork on site is more than 25 years old. The existing condition of the ductwork is little known and no comparable survey has been undertaken in the past. The work will enable NIBSC to assess the requirement for cleaning to satisfy H&S standards relative to air quality. Fire Dampers Fire dampers are an integral part of protecting buildings and personnel from fire. There is a legal requirement to maintain/test periodically. This survey will enable the required work to be identified and quantified so that it can be tendered for or carried out internally as appropriate. Thus, maintaining a serviceable and safe working environment for these areas.
