As part of BIM’s ongoing work programme with the salmon sector we will be undertaking trials with salmon farms to test the efficacy of including a seaweed supplement in a commercial salmon diet. The seaweed supplement must be certified as organic and meet all requirements of EU Directives and Regulations in respect of animal feeds. Tenders are invited to provide 40 tonnes of seaweed supplement for BIM. The successful company must have experience working with marine salmon diets and provide proof of successful trials.
