Tender description

i) Tender Structure: Base Tender: the provision of UK Recruitment Services (including BBC Worldwide Ltd (BBCWW)UK hires) Option 1: the provision of International Recruitment Services (excluding BBCWW) Option 2: the provision of International Recruitment Services for BBCWW ii) Procurement documentation can be accessed at https://bbc.bravosolution.co.uk. iii) The BBC reserves the right to reduce the scope of the services as detailed within the PQQ documentation. iv) The procurement process will follow the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. The BBC reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of the initial tenders without conducting negotiations. v) The Contract will have a term of 3 years with services commencing on 1st April 2016. The Contract may be extended at the BBC’s discretion by up to 2 years. If the BBC wishes to exercise this option, it will give written notice to the successful provider no later than 6 months prior to the end of the initial term. vi) The contract term will be included in the ITSIT and may be varied following discussion with bidders during the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation process. vii) The BBC is looking to sign the contract in December 2015 and to allow for a 3-4 month transition period prior to Service Commencement. viii) Applicants submitting a PQQ Response must have the capability to provide the Base Tender services and both Option 1 and Option 2 services. In confirming this, Applicants are stating the following:- > Base Tender: Applicants are able to deliver the Base Tender to BBC UK premises, in particular London and the North West of England > Option 1: Applicants are capable of recruiting internationally in the following key destinations: USA, India, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Egypt and Bangladesh > Option 2: Applicants are able to deliver the Option 2 services to BBCWW premises in the USA, Australia and Singapore ix) It is the BBC’s intention that following completion of the procurement process, it will be in a position to award a contract for the Base Tender. x) In relation to Option 1 and Option 2: > the BBC will be in a position to decide whether it wishes to exercise either or both of these options and, in the event that it chooses to do so, how this will operate. > Bidders are asked to note that the BBC may not proceed with either Option 1 or Option 2. The BBC will use the negotiation sessions to explore this possibility. xi) The BBC reserves the right to add additional requirements to the scope of the services during the contract life. xii) The BBC has determined that the requirement is not suitable for dividing into lots because it would not be appropriate to have elements of the Base Tender provided by separate service providers. In respect of the Options, it would not be appropriate to award the Base Tender and Options to separate service providers. Accordingly the BBC intends to award a single contract for the requirement.
