Tender description

Bedfordshire CCG (BCCG) and its Associate Commissioner Luton CCG (LCCG) requires qualified organisations to provide the following services: Audiology (Over 55 Adult Hearing), Diagnostics (Non-obstetric Ultrasound Service) and Diagnostics (MRI Service). Specifically, BCCG require qualified organisations to provide Audiology (Over 55 Adult Hearing), Diagnostics (Non-obstetric Ultrasound Service) and Diagnostics (MRI Service). LCCG require qualified organisations to provide Audiology (Over 55 Adult Hearing) and Diagnostics (Non-obstetric Ultrasound Service) only. The services will be commissioned using the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. In securing services under the AQP process, assurance of competence, quality and safety standards will be required. Any provider will be eligible to join the qualified provider list subject to demonstrating competency against specified criteria. Qualified providers will be expected to deliver the service under the NHS Standard Contract. As a qualified provider there are no levels of guaranteed activity. Payment is made based on actual provision. The commissioners for this service are Bedfordshire CCG and its Associate Commissioner Luton CCG (LCCG). The commissioners are supported in this project by Attain Commissioning Services, who will be managing this procurement. Attain acting on behalf of Bedfordshire CCG and Luton CCG, the Commissioning Organisation, intends to use an e Tendering system in this procurement exercise.
