Tender description

This is Contract Finder Notice for 6 commercial washer/dryers and 316L Stainless Steel Fascia with the estimated value range of 130-170K for the Francis Crick Institute (the Crick). The Crick is a newly created biomedical research institute formed by a consortium of UK’s most successful scientific and academic organisations. The new institute site is currently being constructed next to St. Pancras International station in central London, due to open in November 2015. The Glass Wash Facility is the integral part of the support services for over 1200 scientists, who will eventually migrate to the Crick building. We are tendering for 6 machines, which should utilise the available space and maximise the throughput of the glass wash function. The key requirement is for the washer/dryers to fit within the building fabric, which will have to be demonstrated on detailed plan layout. The most economically advantageous tender award criteria are based on the compliance with the technical (mandatory and desirable), financial and resource usage criteria. The high level scoring is: Mandatory Features Requirements - Pass/Fail Desirable Features Requirements - 15% Price - 55% Resource Usage - 30% In addition there is number of relevant questions related to suitability of the bidder as detailed in the Public Contract Regulation 2015. Following the evaluation and moderation the preferred the successful bidder will be required to provide: • Fully coordinated CAD drawings • Attend the site visit of the facility • Complete O&M manuals in the format specified by the Crick • Commissioning records included in the above O&M manuals • Recommended spares list • Warranty management plan Agreement with the Crick Terms and Conditions is required.
