GB-LONDON: Business and Human Rights

Tender description

Three business and human rights guidance projects comprising: Lot 1. Support and guidance to improve company boards' and investors' understanding of the corporate responsibility to respect human rights and to improve the quality and transparency of company reporting. Lot 2. Guidance for businesses operating in the care and private security sectors in line with the corporate responsibility to respect human rights in the UN Guiding Principles. The guidance will set out businesses' responsibilities, a summary of the main human rights impacts affecting each sector, good practice case studies and practical tools for different functions within a company. Lot 3. Guidance for business in designing, implementing and reviewing operational grievance mechanisms in line with the criteria set out in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The guidance will showcase effective company-based and collaborative grievance mechanisms.
