Tender description
The Authority manages a network of 19 permanent recycling centres. These have been registered as DCFs and accept all WEEE strands from domestic origins. Since the introduction of the WEEE regulations in 2006, the Authority has been allowing PCS access to its DFCs to collect WEEE brought to its recycling centres by the members of the public, with a view to their subsequent Re-use, Treatment or disposal. The Service entails the collection and subsequent Re-use, Treatment or disposal of the Contract Waste by a PCS. Contract Waste shall be transferred to the Contractor complete and not stripped of any parts, unless such equipment has been delivered to DCF in parts.
