Tender description

Goldsmiths, University of London is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to carry out asbestos abatement works in the basement of the Richard Hoggart Building on its New Cross campus in South London (SE14 6NW). The works will include the following: 1.To decontaminate and remove asbestos to allow for normal occupation. 2.To encapsulate or enclose residual asbestos insulation to walls, ceilings and floors where it cannot be fully removed. To encapsulate residual asbestos to pipework/plant where it cannot be fully removed. 3.Please be aware that stored papers/archive materials are currently present in the work area. These will be transferred into asbestos waste bags and systematically removed from the enclosure for retention by the client.
