14 109 Multisystemic Therapy Service (MST)

Tender description

Cheshire East Council would like to find an Organisation to provide a Multisystemic Therapy service (MST) which will cover the Cheshire East region. As per the specification the service will consist of: 1 x MST Supervisor / Programme Manager 4 x MST Therapists 1 x Administration Worker 1 x Backup Supervisor cover x 10 weeks Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a preventative programme aimed at 11-17 year olds with severe behavioural problems who are at risk of being placed out of home; in care or in custody. MST works intensely with the individual, family and all the systems in a young person's life, such as peers, school and community. MST uses evidence based interventions, including behavioural, cognitive and family therapy and aims to improve discipline and supervision practices among parents and carers, reducing the young person's involvement with delinquent peers, improve school performance and reduce anti-social behaviour and substance mis-use. The MST service will work with families where there are children between the ages of 11 - 17 on the edge of care or custody. The maximum contract value will be £294,966.00. The closing date for clarification questions is 12 noon on 23rd July 2015. The submission deadline for all tender documents which must be uploaded via The Chest is 12 noon on 30th July 2015. Any tenders recieved after the closing date will not be evaluated.
