Road Safety Training and related services framework

Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (the Council) is seeking to commission a provider or providers to deliver cycle training and other cycling services, plus other practical road safety training. The Council intends to procure a framework agreement for a 5 year period with the option to extend for a period of up to 2 further years. The framework agreement will be divided into four lots to cover different specialisms and requirements: • Lot 1: Cycle Training (Bikeability) • Lot 2: Cycle maintenance and repairs • Lot 3: Road safety training (including SUD courses, All Ability Cycling) • Lot 4: School cycling/active travel promotion The framework agreement will available to the Council and to the neighbouring councils of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster City Council who will be able to call off from it. Organisations will be able to express an interest in tendering for one or more lots, and multiple providers may be appointed to each lot. As part of the process all interested organisations will be required to demonstrate expertise in delivering a high quality service in the fields that will be described in the tender documentation. About the Buyer’s selection process The Buyer in this instance is the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. This is an open tender and all tender documents (including specifications) can only be downloaded via the Buyer’s designated procurement portal “capitalEsourcing” (www.capitalesourcing.com). The anticipated publication date for the Contract Notice that will seek expressions of interest is 24 February 2015. Interested organisations will have 6 weeks following the publication of the Contract Notice on capitalEsourcing to review the tender documentation, submit clarification questions (via the capitalEsourcing messaging system) and finally submit their completed bid/s.
