Tender description

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Agency is responsible for regulating the safety and efficacy of medicines and medical devices in the UK. The agency is comprised of three organisations – the MHRA which is the regulatory authority; NIBSC - The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control and CPRD - The Clinical Practice Research Datalink. The agency employs several hundred scientific staff who need access to the world’s biomedical literature in order to carry out their work. Staff are expected to be able to carry out their own searches and therefore need to use a system that is user-friendly and can assist with their workflow, enabling easy retrieval of the full text articles where possible.
