256/LD/N/15 Manually Operated Metal Cutting Equipment – 5 Lots The University of Sheffield invited tenders for supply to the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe in Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The supply, installation and commissioning of a range of “Manually Operated Metal Cutting Equipment”, as follows: Lot 1: Manual Milling Machine Lot 2: Manually operated Lathe Lot 3: Surface Grinder Lot 4: Pedestal Drill Lot 5: Radial Arm Drill These are for use within the AMRC Nuclear building. The Nuclear AMRC has a requirement for a range of manually operated metal cutting machines to assist in the preparation of test piece material. These test pieces will be subsequently used during its research activities.
