Tender description
The London borough of Richmond Upon Thames (LBR) is seeking a quotation for Funeral Services. The contract may be awarded for a term of 1 year with a further provision for 1 year. All authorities have a legal responsibility under the National Assistance Act 1948 to arrange and pay for the funeral of anyone who dies within their borough boundaries where it appears to the authority that no suitable arrangements for the disposal of the body have been or are being made otherwise than by the authority.
