Lambeth Council is calling for quotations from consultancies with experience in business development for the voluntary and community sector. Suppliers must have experience in business planning, feasibility studies, options appraisals and implementation planning with a view towards realising financially sustainable community-led models of management for public spaces and services. Evidence of working closely with the voluntary and community sector supporting organisational development and strategic planning is essential. Developing plans that increase usage, enhance public access, support long term financial sustainability of an organisation and facilitate involvement in local government services is required. A proven track record of working sensitively with third sector partners, external stakeholders and community and voluntary sector groups is required. Experience of working with assets and exploring options for income generation through creative use of buildings, facilities and other revenue streams is desirable.
