Bournemouth Borough Council invites Tenders for the operation and delivery of a Beach Weddings Operation for specified operating periods from 1st April 2017 to 30th October 2019. This is a 3 year contract with the option to extend annually for a further 2 years (3+1+1). The Council reserves the right to negotiate the rate of total licence fee should this extension be honoured. Bournemouth is highly regarded both nationally and internationally as a high-quality holiday resort. Understandably, pride in the Town's appearance is a priority to sustain tourism, attract businesses and improve the quality of life for residents. Bournemouth has a resident population of over 163,500 and forms a part of the larger conurbation of Poole and Christchurch with a resident population of over 345,000. In addition to this, the town attracts over 5¼ million tourists annually bringing in extra revenue of over £375m. One of Bournemouth's main assets is its stunning Seafront and Beaches, which stretch from Alum Chine in the West to Hengistbury Head in the East covering seven miles of uninterrupted golden sand. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced wedding operator to deliver a top quality wedding package on Bournemouth Beach. A successful operation has been running on the beach for the last 5 years and the award of this tender is a chance to enhance and build on the current offer. Please express an interest in the contract and view the documentation for more information on the requirement and how to apply for this contract. The deadline for submitting a response is Wednesday 24th 2015 at 14:00.
