D066 Term Service Contract for Tanker Services

Tender description

This contract is for the emptying and inspection and removal of blockages at septic tanks, treatment plants, cesspits, wells and pumping stations etc. at various operational Council properties located within the geographical boundaries of East Riding of Yorkshire. East Riding of Yorkshire Council owns and controls approximately 76 properties, throughout the County, that contain septic tanks, treatment plants, cesspits, wells and pumping stations operating 24/7. The contract scope of work includes the creation, provision and/or verification of as installed information, undertaking planned emptying of septic tanks, treatment plants, cesspits, wells and pumping stations with minor maintenance works at most sites to ensure that sites meet operational and safety standards for access and egress and the provision of a 24/7 call out service for emergency response for emptying and clearance of blockages and associated investigation work to attend at any applicable location in the East Riding of Yorkshire within the prescribed times. Working restrictions will apply. The contract will cover the emptying of septic tanks, treatment plants, cesspits, wells and pumping stations etc. for buildings that are the responsibility of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in order to meet its requirements under the following legislation/standards: The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Environment Agency Regulations. An initial contract duration of 3 years with three optional annual renewals up to a maximum total of 6 years. Renewal will be made by and at the sole discretion of the Employer.
