This procurement is for the provision of Community Ophthalmology Services in Eastern Cheshire and North Derbyshire using the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. The Aims and Objectives of this services is that the Provider(s) will: Deliver the ophthalmology outpatient and day case adult services including diagnostic and screening services; To work in line with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Commissioned Services Policy ; Ensure achievement of the Referral To Treatment performance targets and mandatory national guidelineEnsure productivity, efficiency and value for money; Collaborate with referrers, other local providers and the Local Optical Committee to ensure pathways are seamless; Provide a regular on site Clinical Lead – Ophthalmology presence.
