CIPFA Comparative Profile Reports on Libraries.

Tender description

The proposal provides for a profile for each library authority in England that compares to a selected group of library authorities across a number of indicators reflecting key aspects of library provision, as follows: • Numbers of libraries and service users • Costs of running library services • Levels of staffing and volunteers • Annual book and audio-visual issues • Stock and acquisition levels • Performance in relation to speed of requests • User satisfaction The data will enable library authorities to compare their service costs and performance with that of their peers, allowing review of areas for improvement and to identify good practice.
