Tender description

Provision of Sexual Health Services to the population of Wakefield District. This contract for Wakefield Sexual Health Services has been broken into 2 lots. Lot 1 - Wakefield Integrated Sexual Health Service This service will provide an accessible, high quality and confidential integrated sexual health and contraception service.  This will include Genitourinary Medicine (GUM), Contraception and Sexual Health Services (CASH), condom distribution, chlamydia screening, relationship and education services, health promotion and opportunistic screening and testing for young people and high risk groups, and sexual coercion awareness and prevention. This will be delivered via a hib and spoke network that will provide prevention services through to levels 1-3 sexual health and contraception services. The provider will also provide a coordination and leadership role across the sexual health economy. Lot 2 - HIV Prevention and Support Service This service will provide a HIV Prevention and Support Service to the population of the Wakefield District.  The aim of the service is to deliver HIV Prevention  and Support for groups at increased vulnerability to the human immune deficiency virus (HIV).  The key groups at increased vulnerability to HIV include men who have sex with men (MSM), Black African communities, commercial sex workers and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) young people and adults.
