Provision of a technical resource for EPA Kilkenny air quality lab

Tender description

The National Ambient Air Monitoring Programme invites tenders for the provision of a technical resource to assist EPA staff with weighing, organisation, dispatch, receipt and analysis of particulate matter filters for monitoring sites throughout the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Network. Other ambient air quality tasks will also be expected including, but not limited to, laboratory work in accordance with the CAFE Directive. This is a quoted time specific contract for a suitably qualified resource. This document provides details of the required services, for the provision of a resource for 440 days during the period January 2015 – December 2016. The rates should reflect the duration of the contract for the resource. The successful tenderer will provide a resource to work primarily at EPA Regional Inspectorate in Kilkenny between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. The resource is required Monday to Friday (5 days per week) on days when the EPA office at Kilkenny is open up to a maximum of 440 days spread over the years 2015 and 2016.
