Tender description

2 The Office for Nuclear Regulation’s (ONR) Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process is part of a two-phase process. Phase 1 involves assessment of the Requesting Party’s (RP) safety submission on a generic basis, in advance of any site-specific proposals. Phase 1 consists of 4 steps: a) Step 1; preparation of the design, safety case and security submissions; b) Step 2; fundamental design, safety case and security and security claims assessment; c) Step 3; overall design, safety case and security argument assessment; and d) Step 4; detailed design, safety case and security evidence assessment.
