Tender description

5) ONR Sellafield Programme has developed an intervention to gain confidence that Sellafield Limited (SL) produces fit-for-purpose nuclear fire safety cases which adequately underwrite the risk from fire to the nuclear safety of its facilities, operations and decommissioning. Failure to develop a robust nuclear fire safety case has the potential to lead to failures to identify / address common cause failures or unrevealed faults, which could in turn have significant nuclear safety consequences.
