Provision of Counselling for Children and Young People.

Tender description

As part of Hull City Council's commitment to improving the Emotional Health and Wellbeing of Children and Young People in Hull we are looking to establish a framework of counselling providers who can provide therapeutic counselling services to children and young people based on need identified by Hull City Council's Children and Young People's services. The framework contract will run from 11 May 2015 to 10 May 2017. There will be no extensions. The contract will support children and young people aged from 5 to 19 years of age predominantly, though not exclusively, children and young people in the looked after system, children and young people with child protection plans and children in need. However all referrals will come from staff within HCC children and young people's services and not from any services external to this. Inclusion on the framework as an approved Local Authority provider does not guarantee a minimum level of work.
