Tender description
Birmingham City Council’s Youth Promise includes a commitment to provide specialist education, employment and training mentoring that will support vulnerable young people who are not in education employment or training (NEET) to engage and progress into and sustain education, employment or training (EET). Youth Promise Mentoring Support will deliver intensive mentoring to NEET young people aged 16 – 19 from the following groups identified as vulnerable by the Council • Lot 1 - Children in Care/Care Leavers • Lot 2 - Young Offenders/at risk of offending From this tender opportunity the Council requires one provider for each of the above lots. Tenderers can bid for individual or both lots. Youth Promise Mentoring Support providers will be responsible for managing and coordinating delivery. This will include employing and managing Engagement Mentors who will provide young people with tailored activities designed to support them to engage and when they are ready progress into and sustain EET.
