Tender description
• Tier 3 Weight Management • Interim Service for 12 months • Service User: Adult The CCG wishes to commission an interim service to enable patients who have been rejected for Tier 4 treatment because they have not undergone Tier 3 (or equivalent services) within the last 6-12 months, to be prioritised and offered a course of treatment on a specialised weight management programme. There may also be additional more recent referrals suitable for Tier 3. The forecast of patient numbers are approximately 50-100 patients suitable for the Tier 3 interim services. A fully integrated obesity pathway is to be commissioned for the longer term to replace this interim service later in 2016.
