Tender description
Colchester Borough Council require a suitably experienced supplier who can digitise approximately 450,000 historic microfiche/aperture cards, that have been used by our Planning Services department. The requirements will include: •Scan and index each card to application number •Quote for documents to be scanned at both 200 dpi and 300 dpi resolution •Reduction Ratio at A0 to avoid pixilation •Secure delivery of data back to us on an external hard drive (in format to be agreed) •Secure storage to allow for quality check and sign off •Secure shredding at agreed time •Test batch required before go ahead confirmed.
