Aquatic Surveys for the Grid West Project

Tender description

EirGrid are developing overhead and underground options for a high voltage transmission circuit linking a proposed substation near Moygownagh, North Mayo and an existing substation, Flagford, near Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon. The purpose of the project is to facilitate the connection of significant amounts of renewable energy generators in the North West of Ireland. As part of these works, and in determining feasibility of options, environmental surveys are required. This tender only relates to the requirements for aquatic surveys to be undertaken. EirGrid intends to establish a single supplier framework for the provision of Aquatic Surveys for the Grid West Project in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP).
