Semi-independent accommodation for care leavers in partnership with West London authorities

Ho unslow is a west London borough on the outskirts of London. It is bordered to the north by Hillingdon and Ealing, to the south by Richmond, to the east by the inner London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and to the west by the county of Surrey. The borough comprises four main town centres Chiswick, Hounslow, Brentford and Feltham and a number of urban villages: Heston, Bedfont, Isleworth and Cranford. The provision of a service which will improve quality and choice of accommodation for Hounslow care leavers. It will ensure that placements purchased will conform to specification and that all providers used, meet appropriate standards, currently there is no statutory regulation of the market and no formal commissioning arrangements for this type of service in Hounslow or most WLA boroughs. It will also improve the monitoring and management of semi-independent accommodation units both within the borough, and in partner boroughs.
