Tender description

South Eastern Applied Materials (SEAM) Research Centre based within Waterford Institute of Technology is currently seeking acquisition of a new metal additive manufacturing system. The proposed procurement is for a direct metal laser sintering type system with a laser power of 200W or better. This system will be capable of producing samples in the region of 250x250x250mm from a variety of metal powders including, but not limited to, 316L, Ti64, and various nickel alloys. The procurement will also include delivery, installation, training, and software necessary for machine control.
