Provision of Equine Diagnostic and Laboratory Research Support to Equine Science Programmes

University of Limerick seeks applications to secure the provision of an experienced Equine Diagnostic and Laboratory Research Support Agency. The successful provider will work with the Department of Life Sciences Equine Science Programme providers to provide teaching and laboratory instruction and support in virological, bacteriological, haematological, nutritionall and molecular diagnostic techniques used for endemic and exotic infectious and production diseases of the horse. UL offers Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes at undergraduate level in Equine Science and also offers MSc and PhD programmes by research. The provision of state of the art teaching and laboratory techniques in equine disease diagnosis is central to the successful delivery of these programmes.
