Tender description

Derbyshire County Council is inviting organisations to apply to be included on accredited lists of providers for the Pharmacy-based Supervised Consumption of Methadone & Buprenorphine and Needle & Syringe Programme in Derbyshire, for two years commencing 1 April 2015.If successful, providers will be awarded a contract and will be placed on the lists which will contain details of all organisations within Derbyshire accredited to provide the services. Pharmacy based Supervised Consumption of Methadone & Buprenorphine: The Council will provide the list of accredited providers to the Adult Drug Treatment Service who will, in consultation with the service user, select a suitable provider with regard to both geographical location and capacity. Pharmacy based Needle and Syringe Programme: The Council will provide the list to the drug treatment service and will publish the list on its website (www.derbyshire.gov.uk) from where service user will select their preferred provider.For further information please download the attached documents: Guidance for Applicants Appendix A - Specification Appendix B Response Appendix C - Draft Agreement for Enhanced Service (GP or Pharmacy) Appendix D - Draft contract pharmacy needle and syringe programme supply and service contract (for information only)Submissions of applications to be included on the accredited list commencing 1 April 2015 should be sent to publichealthprocurement@derbyshire.gov.uk by 4.00pm on 30 January 2015 and should include: Appendix B ResponsePlease note: Late applications will be accepted, but inclusion on the list may be delayed where an application is submitted after 30 January 2015. In order to improve the level of choice and to best meet the needs of service users within Derbyshire, following the close of this invitation to expression of interest, the Council intends to advertise a further invitation to enable the expansion of the list throughout the contract period. The Council does not have any control regarding the selection of providers made by service users can make no guarantee regarding the volume of clients that providers may see during the contract period.Please note the documents attached below are all of the documents related to this expression of interest, you will not be required to request any further documents.
