Pharmacy-based Supervised Consumption of Methadone and Buprenorphine and Needle & Syringe Programme

Derbyshire County Council is inviting organisations to apply to be included on accredited lists of providers for the Pharmacy-based Supervised Consumption of Methadone & Buprenorphine and Needle & Syringe Programme in Derbyshire, for two years commencing 1 April 2015.If successful, providers will be awarded a contract and will be placed on the lists which will contain details of all organisations within Derbyshire accredited to provide the services. Pharmacy based Supervised Consumption of Methadone & Buprenorphine: The Council will provide the list of accredited providers to the Adult Drug Treatment Service who will, in consultation with the service user, select a suitable provider with regard to both geographical location and capacity. In order to improve the level of choice and to best meet the needs of service users within Derbyshire, following the close of this invitation to expression of interest, the Council intends to advertise a further invitation to enable the expansion of the list throughout the contract period.
