Tender description

EEM Members have varying requirements regarding water service management, including legionnaires bacteria control which this framework is looking to provide. — Carrying out of risk assessments, making recommendations and undertaking remedial works to proposed properties — Cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks and portable water service pipes. — Risk assessments are to be carried out biannually or annually during a period to be agreed by members. The Contractor will generally be required to carry out all of the work while the property is occupied but on occasions, because of the nature of the work required, the Contractor may be required to carry out part or all of the work to vacant dwellings The framework will be in operation for a 4 year 48 month) period. EEM members are predominantly within the East Midlands but not exclusively so and may have requirements in other parts of England and Wales. The consortia is owned by our members which include Housing Associations, ALMO's, Local Authorities and bodies from the wider public sector. A full list of current EEM members available at www.efficiency-em.co.uk The total potential value of this Framework is 110 000 to 10 000 000 GBP. Please note that this is the total potential value for the full 4 year framework and takes into consideration that EEM membership may grow over the life of the framework. The individual call off contracts currently range between 10 000 GBP per annum and 60 000 GBP per annum. This contract notice has been published by Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) on behalf of their members and the other organisations described below as being Authorised Users. EEM is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. The Framework Agreement being procured by this procurement process will be entered by EEM as the Contracting Authority which will have undertaken and completed the procurement exercise begun by publication of this Contract Notice. Any reference in this Contract Notice to Contracting Authority is deemed to be and include reference to EEM and its members (Existing, Future pr participants). The current members of EEM are available from www.efficiency-em.co.uk. All of the current members are, therefore, to be regarded as Contracting Authorities under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for the purpose of this procurement exercise and entitled as Authorised Users to access and use the Framework Agreement to be awarded at conclusion of the procurement exercise begun by publication of this Contract Notice.
