Single Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Desktop IT Hardware Maintenance and Support

Tender description

Dublin City Council (DCC) wishes to establish a Single Party Framework Agreement for the provision of Desktop IT Hardware Maintenance and Support. The Framework is being established under the open procedure in accordance with the EU Public Sector Directive 2004/18/EC. It involves maintaining all hardware listed in the appendices and keeping required spare parts. It includes support for manufacturer related software such as firmware, drivers, management tools etc. Service Providers will be required to manage devices still under warranty with the relevant suppliers and to continue to provide a costed break / fix service with all costs subject to approval of DCC’s Desktop Manager. Dublin City Council will be facilitating the establishment of this framework agreement on behalf of itself and the Local Authorities listed hereunder who will be parties to the framework. • Dublin City Council • South Dublin County Council These authorities will be known as the framework purchasers. Any contracts entered into on foot of the framework agreement will be strictly between each framework purchaser and the chosen framework operator. Under this framework no obligation whatsoever exists on any of these framework purchasers to award any contract. Contract awards will be a matter solely for the framework purchaser in question at any time over the life of the framework. For the avoidance of doubt Dublin City Council will not be responsible for brokering any agreement between other framework purchasers and the framework operators
