Tender description

The contract is for the purchase, delivery and installation of one instrument and auto-sampler suitable for the analysis of alkalinity (as mg/l CaCO3) in water samples from poorly buffered (acid sensitive) rivers and lakes. The instrument should be automated and should come with a suitable auto-sampler. The instrument must be capable for measuring Alkalinity with a limit of quantitation of 1mg/l CaCO3. The instrument must be capable of automatically analysing at least 15 samples/standards in a batch run. The instrument should have a proven capability in measuring Alkalinity in the range 1 -10mg/l CoCO3 while meeting the requirements of the EPA’s ISO17025 quality system.
