Provision of Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition Renewal Licensing (Lot 1) Provision of Support for Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition (Lot 2)

Tender description

Dublin City Council is seeking proposals for licence renewal and support in respect of Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition. The tender is presented in 2 lots and tenderers may bid for either one or both lots. Lot 1: Dublin City Council (DCC) invites tenders for the supply of 3,060 Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition renewal licences. Tenderers must provide pricing per year for the three years commencing March 27th 2013. Marks however, will be awarded based on the three year costs. Lot 2: Dublin City Council also invites tenders for the support of Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition on desktops, workstations, laptops, servers, Citrix XenApp servers, virtual servers, storage and at DCC’s disaster recovery site at Citadel, Citywest. This element of the contract will be managed through the use of Draw Down days. Tenderers will therefore be required to provide pricing for batches of Call Down days in lots of 5, 10 and 20 days. Tenders will be assessed under this lot in terms of Draw Down Cost, Partner accreditation and Engineer Professional accreditation. 2.2 Duration The duration of the contract will be of three (3) years subject to satisfactory annual review of performance and to budgetary constraints
