Tender description

This public tender competition relates to the supply of Library Books. There are 5 categories or Lots that tenderers may bid for namely: Lot 1: Adult Fiction Backstocking & Non Fiction Backstocking Lot 2: Children's Backstocking Lot 3: Adult Fiction EDI Lot 4: Adult Non Fiction & Reference EDI Lot 5: Children's Fiction & Non Fiction EDI Tenderers may apply for one or more Lots. It is intended to admit up to three suppliers in each Lot. Tenderers will be ranked on the basis of the results of this tender competition. The highest ranked tenderer will be identified as the preferred bidder. Contracts for the supply of Library Books in each Lot will be awarded using a 'cascade' method Framework created, details as follows: Lot 1: (1) O' Mahony's (2) Open Book (3) Irish Library Suppliers. Lot 2: (1) International Education Services (2) O' Mahony's (3) Open Book. Lot 3: (1) Open Book (2) International Education Services (3) Book Nest. Lot 4: (1) Open Book (2) Irish Library Suppliers (3) Book Nest. Lot 5: (1) Open Book (2) International Education Services (3) Irish Library Suppliers.
