Market Testing for Translation/Interpretation Service

Tender description

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) is intending to procure the Translation and Interpretation service for all its three sites – Frimley Park Hospital, Wexham Park Hospital and Heatherwood Hospital. Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust intends to go for a fixed term contract for a period of maximum three years with an indicative annual contract value of GBP 80,000.00. The service will be for face–to–face, telephonic and British Sign Language with majority of the service to be provided by telephone. Apart from various ethnic group which these three hospital serves, a majority of the service could be asked for Nepalese and Somalian community members. FHFT also intends to cut down its prices paid for the commutation of these interpreters/translators – wherever they apply to – and emphasizes on the period of actual service provided. Hence, bidders are requested to provide a general idea of availability of these translators/interpreters on a local basis.
