Tender description

The purpose of the training is to help staff to develop the necessary understanding and knowledge, in order to achieve better outcomes for children and young people within the immigration process. Following the training, staff will: Understand their statutory responsibilities towards children and how it affects them; Have an understanding of the basic principles of child welfare; Be able to recognise and act appropriately on child safeguarding concerns; Understand the need to share information in order to safeguard children; Appreciate own role and that of others in safeguarding children; Be familiar with local safeguarding arrangements, services and sources of advice for supporting families and safeguarding children;
