Tender description

1. To provide construction inspectors and those new to construction with the knowledge required to identify lifting equipment and accessories commonly found on construction sites and recognise defects which may affect the safety of such plant, equipment and accessories. 2. To provide construction inspectors and those new to construction with the knowledge required to identify how lifting operations should be planned, monitored and controlled and how to recognise deficiencies in the planning and management of such operations. 3. By providing aims 1 and 2, enable inspectors to identify material breaches and take appropriate enforcement action where necessary to control the risk, applying the principles of EPS/EMM.
