British Council Schools - Digital Professional Development for 21st Century Core Skills

The British Council has recently commissioned a programme of nine professional development modules to support teachers and school leaders in the teaching of 21st Century Core Skills and Competencies. We are now seeking a supplier to work with the face-to-face content authors to develop a digital teaching/continuing professional development (TPD/CPD) programme. The digital CPD offer will be available to teachers across all subject areas at primary and secondary level and school leaders globally. It will be predominantly self-access (with flexibility to enable tutor facilitated learning) and will be scalable to meet the needs of users with low connectivity through to the more technologically advanced. The digital CPD materials will work alongside the face-to-face training programme to inform and inspire teachers and school leaders around the world to reflect on and make changes to their practice, pedagogy and, where appropriate, curriculum to develop high levels of skill and competency in the teaching of the six skill areas and in so doing develop global citizens better equipped to thrive in the global market of the 21st century.
